Today I want to share with you some beautiful images of the catalogue of the Swedish brand Affari. In Affariâs catalogue we can found decorative accessories, both for indoor and outdoor areas, being natural wood, zinc and glass the most used materials. All products have a Scandinavian style, which highlights beauty, practicality and naturalness. In Spain the official distributor of the Swedish brand Affari is Estilo Nórdico. I leave you with the images:
Today I have selected this house to show you the small details that make it different, giving it a personal touch. The wood shavings panels placed to cover the wall beside the bed side panel have drawn my attention, as well as the notes panel in the kitchen. All the home has been decorated in a white base and with small touches of colour such as; the blue trophy in the bathroom, the yellow coatrack, the garland in the kidâs bedroom, the picture in the dining room or the black sofa with colourful pillows in the living room. All of them have caught my attention in this home. And you? What has caught your attention?

The house that I am showing you today has 65 m2 where a family with two children live. But owners have maximized the space! They have chosen furniture with plenty of storage capacity and solutions, avoiding to take unnecessary space to the stays. The clothes horse placed on the wall of the laundry room seems to me a great idea for those homes where space is tight. It can be found in Ikea. The entire floor is made of black porcelain, except in the living room-kitchen where natural wood is used. The living room is dominated by greys and blues in its lighter shades, while more vibrant colours appear in the rest of the house but in small doses. In the master bedroom a colourful wall mural stands out showing a beautiful image of nature, by Mandrup-Poulsen Tapeter, contrasting with the black of the quilt and beams. I leave you with the images.
It has already been one week since spring officially came, but it has not yet appeared in all countries. And we really miss it! Here in Germany flowers and sun began to appear very timidly. I imagine it will be similar in Scandinavia. In Scandinavian countries, the absence of colour in nature and outside the home leads to transform the decor inside in search of spring motives: tablecloths, bedspreads, pillows, carpets, pictures … everything is full of colour and floral and animals prints, thus evoking nature and spring. The flowers begin to be present in many corners of the house since, after the long and cold winter, people are looking forward to some extra dosis of colour invading their homes. I am showing you some spring images.
Today I want to show you some beautiful lamps that I have found on Internet. They have been designed by the Dutch WM Studio, which is dedicated to product and interior design. The lamps have a very refined style, with simple and elegant lines. They would fit perfectly in any Scandinavian space, donât you think? The first ones shown are made with ceramic while the second ones are made with glass. I hope you like them.
